Location Data (Optional)

If you grant location permission, we collect approximate geographic coordinates (via IP or device GPS) to display local weather.The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you.
Location access is never enabled by default. You can deny or revoke it at any time via device settings.
If location is disabled, you can still manually enter a city name to view its forecast.

🔍 Note: We do not collect precise real-time GPS tracking, contacts, call logs, photos, or other sensitive device data.

C. Third-Party Services

The App integrates limited third-party tools for essential functions:

Google Play Services: For app updates and crash reporting (via Google Play Console).

Open-source weather APIs: To fetch meteorological data (e.g., temperature, precipitation, radar imagery). These services receive only anonymized, non-identifiable requests.

⚠️ We do not integrate ad networks, analytics SDKs (like Firebase Analytics), or social media trackers unless explicitly disclosed in future updates—with your consent.

4. Data Retention

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In practice, this means:

Crash logs and diagnostic data are retained for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted.
Support emails and contact information are kept only as long as necessary to resolve your request (typically ≤ 6 months).
Location data (approximate coordinates) is processed in real-time to deliver your forecast. We do not maintain a persistent storage or retrievable history of your locations. Associated technical logs may be retained for a brief period for system security and operational integrity, after which they are purged.
No persistent user accounts or long-term personal data storage exists within the App.

5. Children’s Privacy

Weather Pro is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in regions where higher age thresholds apply).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately at [email protected], and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

🗑️ Delete All Data: Uninstall the app—this removes all locally stored data.
❌ No Ads, No Tracking: The App contains no personalized ads or cross-app tracking.
